My sweet (albeit mischievous) dog, Sophie, decided to snack on an entire box of dark mint chocolate while we were away at my grandmother's funeral, and started acting shaky and disoriented, almost drunk. The clinic was closing soon but we called and they told us to bring her on up. The vet took her back and pumped her stomach (and handled me, in my state of hysterics, very well!) and told us that she will most likely be fine but that they were going to keep her over the weekend just to be sure. I thought my baby was gonna die, and they saved her life and reassured me that everything was gonna be fine. They even called my dad after hours to let him know that Sophie was back to wagging her tail, which was a much needed comfort after being so angry at myself for leaving the chocolate in my bag where she could get to it in the first place.

The bill was extremely reasonable, too. I live in Denton (Sophie stays with my parents in Corsicana) and that type of care can EASILY cost $300+ here. But not at the Ivie's clinic; you can tell that Bo and his team really care about the wellbeing of the animals, not making a buck on worried pet owners. They go out of their way to make sure animals are getting the best care possible.

Bo and his team have cared for all of our animals, all of our late grandma's animals, and I can't imagine trusting any other animal clinic like I trust this one. I would highly recommend that anybody in the Navarro county area take their pets here. --Sarah Kasprzyk

I can't say enough about this facility and the people who work there. This past week we had to make the hardest decision to put our 11 year old golden retriever, Bo, to sleep. Everyone was very, very kind and compassionate. Dr. Leslie Ivie explained everything to us and let us know exactly what was going to happen. She gave us our time with him but when it came time she stayed with us until the end. We cannot thank you enough for the kindness you showed us and our dog Bo. The Animal Care Clinic is the BEST place to take your pet, they took care of Bo from the time he was a puppy until he was an old baby. Thank you all! --Kylee Brooke Wilson

I just wanna say that I have never met a more genuinely caring group of people! They gave us comfort in our most vulnerable moment. Our 15 week old German Shepard caught parvo and was extremely ill. When we discovered what was going on with her it was a late Sunday night. We had to rush her to Waco Animal Emergency Hospital where she received her first round of ABT and fluids. They kept her over night.We slept in our Tahoe in there parking lot to make sure we were there on time to pick her up. We were instructed to take her straight to her Primary Vet. When we got to Animal Care Clinic we were treated as if we were royalty! Bo Ivie and his team have an unexplainable caring concern for all animals that come thru their hospital. Dr Bo Ivie went above and beyond to explain all we needed to know about our journey with our precious Cloey. He reassured us that at the end of each day he has done everything possible for our baby. He told us we could check up on her anytime we wanted. Believe me when I tell you I did exactly that and NEVER was I treated as an inconvenience...the staff went above and beyond to treat us with the most respect. I can see why this Clinic is busy! They are the best! Well today @5pm we will be picking up our Cloey! I want to thank EVERY STAFF MEMBER at the Animal Care Center for all the care they have given to our baby! May God bless this Clinic and all the people in it! Words cannot express the gratitude we have in our heart for saving Cloey's life! We truly thought she was going to die. --Michelle Robinson

The most caring, loving, and understanding humans I've ever met. Never did they get upset when I called 3-5 times a day asking for an update on my dachshund, Cash, receiving parvo treatment. I have used Bo and now his kids Waylon and Leslie all my life. This is the only vet my dad would use. They have always cared for our fur babies with the upmost care and love. Recently my 11 wk old puppy broke her leg and I took her up there. Leslie got her back x rayed her and performed her surgery. They called and let me know she was ready for pick up and sent me home with all the necessary instructions on how to care for her and when to bring her back. They treat every animal as if it was their own. Love this place and will always be dedicated to taking my fur babies to them. --Audrey Raney Harris

I have 2 cats and 1 dog. Vet bills add up but here you feel like you aren't getting your purse stolen. Prices are affordable! Also, the staff @ Animal Care Clinic are all wonderful. I have had negative experiences with other clinics in the area but NEVER with Animal Care. Highly recommend this clinic. --Kimber Slovak

Best vets around. Couldn't say anything bad about them. Saved our lab that had pneumonia. Solved many problems and Dr Bo even showed us a trick to make our ferrets yawn. Lol. Go see these folks. --Will Brumley
